Why librarians book a mystery

A mystery is a story the whole room gets to finish. Two detective hosts open a case, call up volunteers and hand the audience the clues, and for 45 minutes everyone reads the evidence, cracks the codes and argues over the suspects until the reveal. It pairs with every mystery shelf you have and fits summer reading kickoffs, family nights and after-school programs. All you provide is power and room to set up.
